Welcome to the official website for the Social Worker of the Year Awards.
The Awards are about recognising the excellent, diverse work that takes place in the profession and celebrating the many outstanding achievements of social workers across England.
The Awards were established in 2006 by independent practitioner Beverley Williams and re-launched in 2011 as a registered charity, with a fantastic awards event which took place at the House of Lords in December.
Entries for the 2012 awards are now open for nominations and entry forms and a full list of categories and criteria can be found here.
