The Social Worker of the Year Awards 2017 are now closed for entries for individual social workers and social work teams from across England. The judging will take place in September and the shortlist will be announced on Monday 2nd October.
There are sixteen categories in total across the specialisms of both children’s and adult services. Awards include Social Worker of the Year, Team of the Year, Team Leader of the Year and Newly Qualified Social Worker of the Year. There are also categories to recognise social work champions, social work students, practice educators and practitioners working in the field of mental health.
Next year's awards will open for entries in March 2018.
