Welcome to our new website for the Social Worker of the Year Awards and thank you for your interest in entering or supporting our awards.
I founded the awards in 2006 to give greater recognition to the achievements of qualified social workers and to celebrate their success.
I am thrilled at the investment by Sanctuary Personnel to help the awards reach their potential.
In 2011, with Sanctuary, BASW – The College of Social Work and Community Care, we are forming the new Social Worker Awards Board. I believe that with this level of support and with the backing of you all in the social work industry we can achieve our goal of gaining the same status and recognition as the annual Teaching Awards.
