These awards celebrate all your hard work and the incredible impact you have on our communities.   

Social work is a remarkable profession – one that takes compassion, understanding, drive, ambition, and skill to build strong, supportive relationships with our most vulnerable children, young people, adults, families, and communities. The ability of social workers to connect with others, and build trust with people who may have been let down by services in the past, is essential to delivering outstanding services and achieving the best outcomes. 

In Richmond and Wandsworth, we know that our social workers are our greatest asset, and we work hard to support them to deliver their absolute best. We also know that our communities have their own strengths, ideas, and vision, and by harnessing this, we can work with them directly to support their capacity to change and improve their lives for the better.  

These awards recognise the phenomenal work that all social workers do, and we hope they inspire and encourage the next generation!
