Social Worker of the Year Awards 2021
Entries to the 2021 Social Worker of the Year Awards are now closed. Good luck to all those nominated!
We are delighted to announce that the Social Worker of the Year Awards is returning for 2021.
The event will highlight social workers’ outstanding work during the last 12 months and turn their focus towards supporting people to reconnect and to move forward from their experiences during the pandemic.
This year, we’ve reintroduced award categories this year as part of our drive to shine a light on the often-hidden achievements of a compassionate profession.
There are 12 categories in total across children’s and adult services for individual social workers and social work teams across England. These include two new categories for 2021: Social Justice Advocate Award and University of the Year.
Last year was a year of recognising the amazing commitment and resilience of social workers during incredibly challenging times. This year the awards will be sharing more uplifting creativity, giving space for reflection, and sharing stories of compassion and resilience from the past 12 months.
Entries opened on Monday 17th May and closed on Friday 23rd July. The virtual award ceremony will be held in November, where 12 inspirational social workers, social work teams and organisations will be announced as winners.
We can’t wait to hear about all the great work being achieved across the country.
