International Social Work Award
Adult Social Services look after the social, physical and mental wellbeing of adults across Norfolk.
Our aim is to support people in Norfolk to live fulfilling lives as independently as possible. We do this by working with individuals and communities.
All of our work is done in partnership with the independent and voluntary care sector, and we are committed to working collaboratively with our NHS.
- Early help, prevention and transformation
- Integrated commissioning
- Safeguarding – adult’s social work
- Public Health – includes health protection and prevention, commissioning services and outbreak control
- Finance and departmental management
- HR learning and development.
We’re a forward thinking council that wants the county and its communities to make the best of their potential. We’re re-designing services, so that they meet the needs of our growing population, provide high standards of customer care, reflect the priorities of residents and provide good value for money.
