New three-year partnership for the Social Worker of the Year Awards
The Social Worker of the Year Awards is pleased to announce The British Association of Social Workers, BASW England, will become the new headline sponsor for the next three years.
BASW is the UK’s largest professional membership organisation for social work across the UK and has a long relationship with the Awards, having been the Corporate Sponsor for many years.

The Social Worker of the Year Awards 2024 includes 19 different categories across both children’s and adult services including two new categories, the Technology Enabled Lives and Practice Award and Practitioner-Led Research Award.
The Social Worker of the Year Awards were founded in 2006 by Social Worker Beverley Williams MBE. It remains the only major national awards event for social work in England, attracting hundreds of entries every year and reaching millions of people with positive stories of outstanding social work, creative and compassionate practitioners and outstanding practice.
