ADASS West Midlands represents the 14 directors running adult social care services for local authorities across the region. Our focus is on improvement. That means doing things that improve the experience of social care for all adults who need it, their families, and their carers. We use challenge, collaboration, and intelligence to work across the sector to make things better for our organisations and citizens, to seek out innovation, and to speak up for the profession. We have an active Principle Social Worker Network in the region that is increasingly informing our annual improvement work.

We are delighted to support The Social Worker of the Year Awards 2022 and sponsor the ‘Digital Transformation in Social Work’ Award which is a new category this year. We hope this provides an opportunity to shine a light on the range of innovative and tech-enabled approaches that are being taken in social care to support people to live the lives they want to lead.
