Hampshire County Council
2020 has been an undeniably challenging year for everyone – services have been under even greater pressure and the work we do with children and families has never been more important.
At the height of the pandemic, social workers all over the country had to find ways to adapt and respond quickly in an ever-changing situation, to keep children and families safe and protected.
That’s why Hampshire County Council is proud to be supporting the ‘Thank You Social Workers’ event this year, to give something back to our own, and the other amazing social workers all over the country. Our profession has faced challenges and changes this year, which are unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before, and the ability to protect families in crisis in these trying times has been purely down to the high calibre and commitment of our social workers.
In Hampshire, we believe in celebrating our staff and recognising the potential in everyone – it is one of the things Ofsted credited us for in rating us as ‘Outstanding’. We want to extend this appreciation to all social workers across the country – our way of saying thank you for all you do.
